Ingredients:
- 2 lbs Daikon (Turnips)
- 2 Cups Dashi
- 1 Tbsp Sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp Mirin
- 1 Tbsp Sake
Directions:
- Daikon, peeled and cut into 1 1/2 inch long pieces.
- Boil all the other ingredients in a pot.
- Add daikon into the pot until boiling, then turn to low heat for 20-25 mins, turn off heat.
- Serve warm or cold. A stronger taste is expected if refrigerated overnight.
*** You can keep it in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.
