Ingredients: (Serves 2)
- 2 Thick slices of Bread
- 1 Egg
- 100ml Milk
- 1/2 tbsp Sugar
- 1/2 tbsp Butter
- Maple syrup
- In a shallow bowl, beat egg, milk and sugar together.
- Cut each slice of bread into 4 small slices bread. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, allowing bread to soak up all of the mixture.
- Melt 1/2 tbsp butter over a large skillet on medium heat. Add breads onto the skillet , fry until brown on both sides, flipping the bread when necessary.
- Serve hot with butter and maple syrup.
