French Toast

Ingredients: (Serves 2)
  • 2 Thick slices of Bread
  • 1 Egg
  • 100ml Milk
  • 1/2 tbsp Sugar 
  • 1/2 tbsp Butter
  • Maple syrup
Directions:
  1. In a shallow bowl, beat egg, milk and sugar together.
  2. Cut each slice of bread into 4 small slices bread. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, allowing bread to soak up all of the mixture.
  3. Melt 1/2 tbsp butter over a large skillet on medium heat. Add breads onto the skillet , fry until brown on both sides, flipping the bread when necessary.
  4. Serve hot with butter and maple syrup.
